Use
It can be used as cationic dye intermediate to synthesize cationic red X-GRL and other red dyes. It is also a heterocyclic intermediate and can be used in pharmaceuticals.
It can be used as pharmaceutical intermediate for the synthesis of drug zolimide.
It can also be used as a herbicide, especially suitable for use as a cotton defoliator.
Production method
From hydrazine hydrate, cyanamide, formic acid through the combination; Or by aminoguanidine bicarbonate and formic acid action, reheating ring; Guanidine nitrate can also be used as raw material, which is first reacted with acetic acid at 5-15℃ for 8h, then acted with oxalic acid, and finally obtained by cyclic reflux for 5h.
