| Application | FR 8255 is a high-efficiency composite flame retardant, formulated as a synergistic blend of antimony trioxide and zinc borate. The two components exhibit excellent synergistic effects, which can significantly cut formulation costs while maintaining comparable flame-retardant performance. FR 8255 is widely applicable to a broad range of polymer materials, including PP, PE, PS, ABS resins, and various rubbers. It can also be compounded with other flame retardants such as aluminum hydroxide, and brominated flame retardants (e.g., DBDPE, BDDP) to enhance overall fire resistance. At a recommended dosage of 5% to 10%, this product enables the treated materials to meet the V-0 flame-retardant rating standard. | ||
