China PVC Polymerization & Modification Additives from Leading Suppliers | Quality Factory Products

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a synthetic polymer derived from vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), produced through a polymerization process using peroxide, azo compounds, or free radical mechanisms activated by heat and light. This versatile material, known as vinyl chloride resin, includes both homopolymers and copolymers, As one of the largest general-purpose plastics globally, PVC is extensively utilized across various industries. It is a key component in building materials, industrial products, everyday essentials, flooring solutions, artificial leather, pipes, cables, packaging films, bottles, foams, sealants, and fibers, Our factory, located in China, is a leading supplier of high-quality PVC products, meeting the diverse needs of our customers worldwide. Trust us for innovative and reliable PVC solutions that enhance your projects

    Product Description

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a polymer of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) polymerized by peroxide, azo compounds and other initiators or by free radical polymerization reaction mechanism under the action of light and heat. Vinyl chloride homopolymer and vinyl chloride copolymer are called vinyl chloride resin.

PVC used to be the largest general-purpose plastic in the world and was widely used. It is widely used in building materials, industrial products, daily necessities, floor leather, floor bricks, artificial leather, pipes, wires and cables, packaging film, bottles, foaming materials, sealing materials, fibers and so on.

PVC is amorphous structure of white powder, with low branched degree. Its glass transition temperature is 77~90℃, and begins to decompose at 170℃. Meanwhile it has poor stability of light and heat: it will decompose and produce hydrogen chloride at above 100℃ or after a long time of sun exposure, and further automatically catalytic compositing, which causes discoloration and decline in physical and mechanical properties. In practical application, stabilizer or other additives must be added to improve the stability of PVC.

The company could offer the following PVC foaming additives:
CLASSIFICATION PRODUCT CAS COUNTER TYPE APPLICATION
    ANTIOXIDANT NEW
    YIHOO AN245DW
    36443-68-2 35%
    7732-18-5 65%
SONOX 2450DW Mainly used in styrene, synthetic rubber, POM homopolymer and copolymer, PU, PA, PET, MBS, and PVC.
YIHOO AN333 77745-66-5 JP333E Phenol-free antioxidant, used as auxiliary heat stabilizer in PVC, improving the color and transparency of PVC products. It can also be used in rubber and PU materials to improve the aging resistance of products.
YIHOO HP136 181314-48-7 It can provide active hydrogen to regenerate blocked phenolic antioxidant and reduce the added ratio of the two AOs. Suitable for high temperature processing applications, PP, BOPP membrane material, PC transparent recycled material, styrene polymer, PPR pipe material, TPU, adhesive, etc.
    Frequently Asked Questions
    Q
What is PVC and how is it produced?
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a polymer produced from vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) through polymerization initiated by peroxides, azo compounds, or via free radical polymerization under the influence of light and heat. Both vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers are collectively referred to as vinyl chloride resin.
    Q
What are the main applications of PVC?
PVC is one of the most widely used general-purpose plastics in the world. Its applications span building materials, industrial products, daily necessities, floor leather, floor bricks, artificial leather, pipes, wires and cables, packaging film, bottles, foaming materials, sealing materials, and fibers.
    Q
Why do PVC products require stabilizers or additives?
PVC has poor stability under light and heat conditions. It begins to decompose and release hydrogen chloride above 100℃ or after prolonged sun exposure, which causes discoloration and deterioration of physical and mechanical properties. Stabilizers and other additives are therefore necessary to improve the overall stability and performance of PVC in practical applications.
    Q
What PVC foaming additives does your company offer?
Our company offers a range of antioxidant additives for PVC applications, including YIHOO AN245DW (suitable for styrene, synthetic rubber, POM, PU, PA, PET, MBS, and PVC), YIHOO AN333 (a phenol-free antioxidant that improves color and transparency of PVC products), and YIHOO HP136 (suitable for high-temperature processing applications including PP, BOPP, PC, TPU, and more).
    Q
What other polymer additive product series does your company provide?
Beyond PVC additives, the company offers comprehensive product series covering PA polymerization & modification additives, PU foaming additives, PC additives, TPU elastomer additives, low VOC automotive trim additives, textile finishing agent additives, coating additives, cosmetics additives, API, and other chemical products such as zeolite.
    Q
How can I get more information or request a product inquiry?
You are always welcome to contact us directly for product inquiries, technical specifications, pricing, or any customized additive solutions. Our team is ready to assist you in identifying the most suitable additives for your specific application needs.
